Important: ChemistryUK provides formative exam practice. Automated feedback can be wrong, so check important work with a teacher, course materials or the relevant awarding body.
About ChemistryUK
ChemistryUK is operated by Tafren Systems, trading as ChemistryUK. It provides independent OCR A Chemistry A H432 practice and is not affiliated with or endorsed by OCR. Practice results are formative and are not official marks or grades.
Free practice and accounts
Some MCQ and demonstration practice is available without payment. Account features may require a valid individual membership or access provided by a participating school. You must provide accurate account information, keep your password private and use only the account assigned to you.
Individual membership
The initial individual membership is GBP 7.99 per pupil each month, charged in advance through Stripe. The checkout page shows the current price and billing frequency before payment. There is no trial or annual commitment in the initial release.
You can cancel through the Stripe customer portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid billing period, so access normally continues until then. This does not remove any statutory cancellation, refund or consumer rights. Contact us promptly if you believe a payment is incorrect or if you need help exercising those rights.
A pupil aged 16 or 17 must nominate a parent or guardian to pay. A pupil aged 18 or over may pay themselves or nominate another payer. Payment does not automatically give a payer access to detailed answers, feedback or progress.
Acceptable use
Do not submit passwords, payment details, unnecessary personal information, confidential material or content that is unlawful, harmful or infringes another person’s rights. You remain responsible for the material you submit.
You must not attempt to bypass access controls, interfere with the service, scrape question banks, share private joining links or use ChemistryUK to train or evaluate another commercial system without written permission.
Availability and changes
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect information, but no online service can promise uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may pause, change or remove the demo where required for safety, security, quality or legal compliance.
We may update these terms when the service changes. Material changes will use a new version and, where appropriate, require renewed acceptance.

These terms do not limit statutory consumer or data-protection rights. They are governed by the laws applicable to the operator and customer; mandatory local consumer protections continue to apply.
