ChemistryUK Terms of Service & Privacy Notice

Version 2026-07-17 · Last updated 26 July 2026

Important: ChemistryUK provides formative exam practice. Automated feedback can be wrong, so check important work with a teacher, course materials or the relevant awarding body.

Using the free demo

ChemistryUK is operated by Tafren Systems, trading as ChemistryUK. The public launch provides one free, original OCR A Chemistry A H432 ExamBOT demonstration question. It is independent formative practice, not an OCR assessment, official mark or grade.

Do not submit passwords, payment details, unnecessary personal information, confidential material or content that is unlawful, harmful or infringes another person’s rights. You remain responsible for the material you submit.

Privacy and retention

The demo works without a public account. We use a guest-session cookie and store the answers, marking and hint interactions needed to run that anonymous attempt. Anonymous demo records are scheduled to expire seven days after they are created. We may retain limited security and service logs where necessary to prevent abuse, diagnose faults or meet legal obligations.

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect information, but no online service can promise uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may pause, change or remove the demo where required for safety, security, quality or legal compliance.

Contact and your rights

You may contact us about privacy, access, correction or deletion requests. We will respond in line with applicable data-protection law. These terms do not limit statutory consumer or data-protection rights.
